Snaptly ("Snaptly," "we," "us") is a household finance and tax-compliance app. This policy explains what information Snaptly collects, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Snaptly web app and its iOS and Android apps.

We do not use your financial data to show you ads, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to anyone.
Snaptly relies on the following service providers to operate. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function, and none are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Snaptly, our users, or others.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all traffic. Sensitive credentials such as bank-connection tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) in our database, separately from the transaction data itself.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, so the app can keep categorizing new transactions and answering questions against your history. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Danger zone within the app. Deletion removes your transactions, receipts, household data, and — where you're the only member of your household — the household record itself, and revokes Snaptly's access to any connected bank accounts.
Snaptly is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 13 years of age.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
